The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to various undergraduate programs offered by its affiliated institutes. The exam serves as a gateway to prestigious programs such as BBA, BCA, Economics, Media Management, and Liberal Arts at Symbiosis institutes across India. SET is conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode and assesses candidates on four key sections: General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. With a total of 60 questions and a duration of 60 minutes, SET offers a moderate difficulty level with no negative marking. Candidates with a valid Class 12 pass certificate (50% marks for General, 45% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply. The selection process includes the Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds conducted by individual Symbiosis institutes. SET is particularly popular among candidates seeking admission to undergraduate management and media programs.
