Ramachandran International Institute of Management (RIIM), Pune is an AICTE-approved management institute founded in 2014 under the guidance of educator and first-generation entrepreneur Mr. Suraj Sharma. The institute positions itself as Pune's first corporate-style B-School, and was set up with the specific aim of bridging the industry-academia gap by making PGDM education more practical, industry-relevant and skill-based than the conventional classroom model. RIIM runs a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specialisations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Agribusiness Management and Pharmaceutical Management, along with an international track. The institute also offers a Global MBA programme in collaboration with the University of South Wales, UK. Its curriculum is built on a roughly 70% practical and 30% theoretical split, delivered through domain-specific modules, live projects and corporate simulations rather than lecture-led teaching alone. Beyond the core diploma, RIIM runs an Advanced Employability & Leadership Development Programme (AELDP) and Management Development Programmes (MDP), and embeds industry certifications in Business Analytics, Advanced Excel, Digital Marketing and AI & Machine Learning into student training. The campus sits in Bavdhan off the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, within easy reach of the Hinjewadi IT Park corridor — a location the institute uses for corporate interaction, guest sessions and live industry projects. RIIM reports a consistent placement record of 82% over the last five years, with more than 300 companies visiting the campus annually for recruitment.

RIIM's PGDM includes a mandatory summer internship between the first and second year, typically 8 to 10 weeks. The institute's corporate relations cell places students with BFSI, IT, FMCG and analytics firms across the Pune and Mumbai corridor, and many internships convert into pre-placement offers. Live industry projects and corporate simulations run alongside coursework through both years as part of the institute's 70% practical teaching model.
