NMAT 2026

NMAT by GMAC is a national-level management entrance exam conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). It is accepted by more than 50 B-schools in India and over 25 international universities. The exam is designed to assess candidates' aptitude in Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. Unlike many other MBA entrance exams, NMAT allows candidates to choose their exam date and time within a designated testing window, provides the flexibility to take the exam up to three times in a single cycle, and has no negative marking. The best score among attempts is considered for admissions. NMAT scores are accepted by leading institutions such as NMIMS Mumbai, XIM Bhubaneswar, SDA Bocconi Asia Center, and ISB Hyderabad, among others. The exam is conducted in a computer-based format at designated test centers across India, and candidates can also opt for a proctored remote proctoring option. The NMAT testing window typically spans 45-50 days, and candidates must complete the exam within this period.
