MICAT 2026

The MICA Admission Test (MICAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) for admission to its two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) programs. MICAT is unique among management entrance exams as it assesses candidates not only on traditional aptitude areas but also on creative thinking, psychometric traits, and descriptive writing. The exam is conducted twice a year (Phase I and Phase II) in a computer-based test mode across 14 cities in India. To be eligible for MICAT, candidates must also have a valid score in CAT, XAT, or GMAT. The selection process includes the MICAT exam, Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and academic evaluation. MICAT is specifically designed for candidates aspiring to build careers in strategic marketing, communications, and media management.
