MET 2026

The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is the primary gateway for admission to the prestigious Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). It is a computer-based test conducted in multiple phases each year, allowing candidates to improve their scores. The best of the two scores is considered for final merit list preparation. The MET 2026 was conducted in two phases: Phase 1 on April 13-14, 2026, and Phase 2 on May 23-24, 2026. Over 2 lakh candidates appear for this exam annually, competing for seats across four MAHE campuses: Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal, MIT Bengaluru, Manipal University Jaipur, and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT). The exam tests candidates on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English & General Aptitude. B.Tech programs at MIT Manipal are highly competitive, with Computer Science and Engineering branches typically requiring scores above 120 out of 200.
