KIITEE 2026

KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination) is the sole gateway for admission to all programs offered by KIIT University (excluding MBBS, BDS, PG Medical, and PG Dental courses). Conducted by the university itself, the exam is offered in multiple phases throughout the year, making it one of the most accessible private university entrance exams in India. Over 1 lakh aspirants appear for KIITEE annually, competing for approximately 2,500 B.Tech seats alone. The exam is conducted online in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It follows a structured pattern with multiple-choice questions and a +4/-1 marking scheme. B.Tech admissions are highly competitive, with Computer Science and Engineering and its specialisations consistently drawing the highest ranks. A rank within the top 2,500 is generally needed for the core CSE branch. After the exam, shortlisted candidates are called for online counselling, where seats are allocated based on rank and preference.
