Register for MITID DAT (Phase 1 – Online)
Apply online at mitid.edu.in. Pay the application fee and register for MITID Design Aptitude Test (MITID DAT). Phase 1 is an online test done from home, comprising Statement of Purpose, Essay Writing, and Portfolio submission (original creative works – sketches, paintings, graphic design, photography).
Phase 1 Result & Shortlisting
Candidates shortlisted in Phase 1 (evaluated on passion, imagination, communication, and portfolio creativity) are invited for Phase 2 on the Pune campus.
Phase 2 – Studio Test & PI (On-Campus)
Phase 2 is conducted at the MIT Institute of Design campus in Loni Kalbhor, Pune. It includes: Creative Test (design thinking, aesthetic sense), Still Life Drawing (observational skills, perspective), Personal Interview (understanding of design, industry awareness), and Portfolio Review (visual expression and creativity).

Final merit list prepared based on combined Phase 1 + Phase 2 scores. Candidates are offered seats as per rank and preference of specialization.
